Holden & Vale was founded in 2008, in the middle of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. That timing was not accidental — it was formative. We learned early that markets recover, but reputations do not, and that the brokers who survive are the ones who treat every client as though they will be back in ten years.

What began as a two-person practice representing institutional investors has grown into a boutique brokerage with three dedicated practices: tenant representation, landlord services, and investment sales. We have transacted more than $2.4 billion in commercial real estate across Melbourne's most dynamic submarkets — Richmond, Southbank, Collingwood, Fitzroy, and the CBD.

We are deliberately small. Our principals are directly involved in every transaction. We do not delegate to junior associates, and we do not chase volume at the expense of care. If you work with Holden & Vale, you work with the people whose names are on the door.

We only take assignments where our interests are genuinely aligned with yours. If we cannot add value, we will say so — and point you to someone who can.
